Andrew and I were so sorry to hear of Paul’s passing and send our love to Karen, Daniel and Hannah. It has been amazing to read all the wonderful tributes and I would like to add a few words which deal with some of his many other attributes. Paul was not only a leading light in the form of Chairman at Thames Ditton Tennis Club but an extremely accomplished player too and much sought after as a doubles partner - particularly by me as he was always such fun! Our time together on the Club committee to fight potential redevelopment led to many long evenings of debate, tactics, wine and ultimately success. An accomplished cook, I can still savour one of the best goulashes I have ever eaten. Clearly Paul gave so much in so many directions and it was a privilege to know him. Penny Weiss
