I still fondly remember attending the mediators’ training course at Regent’s College which your Paul was leading. It was only on the final day that I knew I had found a kindred spirit when we realised that both of us had a Taste Card (the discount restaurant card) which we produced with a flourish and then collapsed into a restrained fit of laughter realising that we were both ‘shnorrers’ (and of the same background)!! Indeed, it was Paul who I met before deciding to train as a mediator. He so generously and kindly gave me two hours of his time at a coffee shop opposite the Royal Courts of Justice. Happy memories… A true gentleman in all senses of the word – I will miss him.
