Paul had been an inspirational speaker at London Mediators Day in 2015: an annual community mediation conference that takes place in October each year. He had agreed to be the keynote speaker again at London Mediators Day 2018. But in July 2018, Paul got in touch to let me know about his illness saying apologetically that, as he did not know how he would be in October, it might be best to find someone else. He was also kind enough to suggest an alternative. Always approachable, kind, thoughtful and personable, he is much admired and will be sadly missed. Sincere condolences to his friends and family.
