I am so sorry and incredibly sad to hear this news. I admired and respected Paul and counted him as a friend. He spoke at our conference last March about Mediating Medical Conflicts and even managed to write his paper up for a special edition of the journal for Medicine, Law and Ethics during his time of illness. He invited me to join the CMC Academic Committee, as he had such enthusiasm and passion for mediation and wanted to move forwards with that ethos.
