I met Paul in the early 90's as we set up the British, Latvian, Lithuanian and Estonia bilateral law association together at the Law Society. We had great fun working in the Baltic States on civil justice and human rights issues. An absolute sweetie with the assurance of good food, good drink and great company. I was shocked and saddened to hear of his death.
